What a weekend it was! I felt so bad for Addyson, she was not a happy girl. She wanted to eat so bad and tried eating everything she could get in her mouth. I was thinking on Saturday they'd let her eat again, but after re-doing the xray there was still one spot that they were concerned about. So, they didn't let her eat Saturday either. She was on an IV getting nutrients that way, but that was not good enough for her. All of her lab tests came back fine and she was pooping again. On Saturday the Dr said if her xray looked better on Sunday or the same they'd let her eat. Well, it was much better today so she was able to start eating again today. They started her out at 15cc's and they bumped her up to 18cc's tonight. She is much happier, but not totally satisfied yet. Addyson is at her birth weight, 4.2. Peyton is 3.1 and Evan is 5.6! Evan was moved out of his isolette or "condo" as they say at the hospital. He is such a big boy and holding his body temperature all on his own! When I 1st had the babies they said once they are out of the isolette that is when they are close to coming home. So, I'm thinking Evan might be home this week. We're so excited we can't wait. He is doing awesome at eating too! I don't think his sisters are too far behind, we will see how Addyson does with her feedings. I think the key will do be keep her pooping. If she gets constipated I think we will have issues again. Peyton is just plugging along. She has been tolerating her feedings so well that they've bumped her up to 30cc's. She has no problem eating all 30cc's. The bigger Peyton gets the harder it is to tell the girls apart. I'm already calling them by each other's names on accident.
I'm starting to get burnt out on this hospital stuff. I'm ready to move on to the next stage. I'm sure it will be soon enough. Thank goodness for all of the wonderful nurses that have been taking care of them. They really become your friends while you are there. It is nice to have someone to talk to and interact with while I'm there. I can tell they really enjoy their jobs and really care about the babies. It is nice to know that they are in good hands.

Oh how beautiful, beautiful, beautiful you all are! And the babies are cute too! Just kidding. You guys are cute, the babies are BEAUTIFUL! So perfect in all ways, so small and delicate, don't smoosh them with your kisses! So happy to see that they are plugging along, growing and growing and growing. Soon, you'll all be home and your home will never again be silent! Best wishes! Jayne
PS Bruce and Pat are doing a great job.
Trisha, I am so glad that Addyson is doing better, tell her to keep eating and keep pooping that is how the game goes!! Penn our little one was the first one home too, they say that boys are slower but that is not tha case for us either...how exciting that he might come home this week, it will be different going home with him and bringing him back to the hospital, I think Penn really did miss his sisters when he left the hospital! Please let me know if you need any tricks when Evan comes home...take care, talk to you soon. Get plenty of rest now!!
