11 Days Old

Things have been going well for all 3 since Evan has come back to Methodist. I've been thinking to myself how well they are all doing and have been worried that something was going to happen. Having 3 premature babies and everything going perfectly isn't very realistic so I've kind of had that tucked in the back of my mind. This afternoon I got a call from the Dr about Addyson. She is ok, but after her 3pm feeding she had a different color spit up. This concerned them and they did an xray of her intestines. Preemies can develop a disease called NEC that involves the intestines. The Dr thought the xray looked pretty good, but just to be sure they are discontinuing her feedings for the rest of the day. They will repeat the xray tomorrow morning and see how things are looking. She also said Addyson hadn't pooped in 12 hours and that could've been the culprit too. They gave her a suppository and she pooped, so that is all better. When the Dr called she said Addyson was happy and the nurse was holding her and she was doing just fine. I usually am at the hospital about 5 hours during the day. I come home for a few hours and go back to the hospital with Jeff for a few hours in the evening. And of course this happened when I wasn't there. It is funny, when I was there earlier today the Dr was saying how uneventful they have been. I guess she jinxed it :)
All 3 of them were at their maximum cc's of formula and doing pretty well. Evan gets 42oz, Peyton gets 25oz, and Addyson was getting 32oz. I suspect they will start Addyson out slowly again on her formula once her xrays are looking better. Adddyson and Peyton typically take their bottles very well. Evan on the other hand is unpredictable. Sometimes he eats very well and other times of the day he is pooped out and needs to rest so they tube feed the portion of the bottle that he is unable to finish. Peyton almost weighs 3lbs, she is about 2.14 right now. Addyson is just about 4lbs and Evan is at his birth weight of 4.13. They always loose a few ounces before they start gaining again.
I posted some new pictures below.
