I went in on Thursday night. I was having a bad pain under my ribs, I've had this before but it usually goes away in 10 minutes. It's the worst pain, but
I can time it every time and it usually goes away. Well this time it didn't, it lasted 4 hours. I went in at about 8:30pm and they evaluated me. I was having contractions and since they didn't know exactly what was happening they gave me a drug to stop the contractions. It wasn't bad, just made me a little shakey for about an hour and the contractions stopped! Then they did this other test that was so horrble it was like a pap gone bad! I think it was called a Fibronectin test??? Not sure. But by doing this test they can tell if you're going to go into labor anytime soon. The test came back negative which means there is a 97% chance that nothing will happen within the next 2 weeks. So that was reassuring. They checked my cervix and I was dialated to 1cm and 40% effaced...not much. They didn't seem too worried about this. They also did some lab tests and my liver function tests were elevated. The Dr said he would let me go home, but I'd need to come back to the clinic Friday to have them redone to make sure they are ok. So, we went home at 2:30am. I should've just stayed because I got my blood drawn at about noon on Friday and got a call at 4pm that my liver test was still elevated and I'd have to go back to the hospital. They said if this test continued to be elevated they'd have to deliver the babies. I got all of our bags packed and all of the cameras. But, my labs came back better. However, they kept me there for a few days and monitored me. They took a ton of blood (it felt like) and did another 24 hour urine test. Everything came back fine. So here I am back at home. I had a Dr appointment and they scheduled my C Section for June 26th. I will be 35 weeks and they don't want me to go past that. About 2 1/2 more weeks.....I'm thinking I can do it. I don't see anything changing but you never know. They are going to do the babies growth's again next Monday and if for some reason one of them isn't growing well they'll take them earlier. Or if I have any more blood pressure or liver issues. We will see, but 2 weeks doesn't sound so bad.
Thanks for all of your prayers and comments. It has really helped me through these last few weeks.

Wow! Between going back and forth to the hospital/clinic, when do you get a chance for the mandatory "bedrest?" Even though it may seen like you're spending all your time getting checked out, it has to be reassuring to know that the babies are doing just fine. Continue to take care of yourself.
