31 Weeks

I'm 31 weeks this week. I feel like my spirits are up more this week. I had a good weekend. My birthday was on Saturday and we had a little BBQ. It was nice to have family around me and help me think of something other than the babies for a couple hours. I also got a pedicure so my feet are pretty again. It is funny how small things like that make you feel good.

Next week will feel really good because I've made it to 32 weeks which is a great milestone. Last week I was really hoping they'd come at 32 weeks, but now I'm in a better frame of mind and I know it will be much better for the babies if we can make even 2 more weeks. It could be longer...you never know. I'm being seen by a nurse at home now once a week. I saw her on Friday, she can do everything they can do at the office so it was a much shorter visit since she came to me. Everything went fine. She will come to see me once a week now. I then went into the Dr yesterday. I think Addyson is going to be a gymnast because some how she keeps changing positions. She was breech for a while and then went head down again. She is now breech again. I'm not sure how she found the room to do a flip, but she did it! I was feeling what I thought was kicking low in my belly on Sunday and sure enough it was her feet down there. She also wouldn't show us her practice breathing so she didn't get all of her points on her test. The Dr's didn't seem concerned about that. She had good movement and did well on the fetal monitor so O well, we will catch her breathing another time. Peyton did great, she did some great breathing right away. Evan eventually did it, but we had to wait a bit for him. He must have known we were watching him. My blood pressure was elevated at first ( of course). It was 139/90, then after I sat for a while it went down to 137/88, then I laid down and it was 114/73! So laying down on my side really does help. The Dr said that it is good that it goes down when I lay down. That is a good sign he said and as long as I can keep it down they will get me as far as I can up to 35/36 weeks.

It's official.... I can't fit into a booth at a restaurant any more. We went out to Timberlodge for dinner last night. And I asked for a booth, but I couldn't fit! That was a bummer, we had to sit at a table. I thought this was kind of funny and wanted to share.

Thanks everyone for all of your positive comments and well wishes. I really look forward to reading everyone's comments.

Trisha, you are doing a great job and hang in there, you are almost there. I know how it is the longer they are in there the better but as I told my husband "I am so done with this car ride..." Please let me know when the kids are born. I am so excited for you guys, it is the most amazing adventure. I will check on you next week and see how you are doing, take care!!

Hi,Trisha.
So, you can't fit into a booth anymore! Too funny!

I'm sure the pedicure felt good. Take care and pamper yourself right now; pretty soon, you'll be "Pamper-ing" the little ones. (get it "Pamper"? as in diapers). Haha :)

Any pictures? I've never actually seen anyone carrying three babies in their tummy. Keep us posted.
Take care,
