All Together Again

Peyton is home, she was discharged on July 4th! The Dr said she is the smallest baby he's ever sent home, she was 3.12. We were a bit shocked, we thought we'd have a little more time to get used to 2. Everything is going well.... we are just exhausted, but enjoying it. My mom and I brought them to their 1st Dr visit on Thursday. Everyone is gaining weight quickly. Evan isn't my teeny tiny baby anymore. He was 6.2 on Thursday! Addyson is quickly catching up weighing in at 5.5 and miss Peyton was 4.3! Addyson had a hip ultrasound since she was breech and hip dysplasia runs in my family. The Dr heard a "snapping" when he was moving her hips around. The ultrasound tech thought the ultrasound looked fine. Her hips weren't coming out of the sockets or anything so this is probably nothing, but the Dr wanted to check just in case. Peyton will be getting an eye exam in a few weeks. And they are just checking because of her prematurity and her size. She seems to track things well with her eyes, so I'm thinking that will be fine too, but it is good to check things out.

Look at those beautiful babies! Each one unique and new and with their whole lives ahead of them! Please take care, and take a breath, everytime you feel like you are too worn out to be the kind of parent you want to be! My mantra (when my two little ones were babies) was "every minute counts" when my head hit the pillow. Because you never know how long you'll be able to sleep. You just hope it will be more than 20 minutes!!!! All the best to you. Jayne H.B.

How are all of those beautiful babies doing? Growing like crazy? I can only imagine...I only have one and she amazes me every day! I hope things are well and you guys are adjusting to parenthood! Are you planning on coming back to work at PNC?

Jeff & Trisha:

We received the picture of the kids in the mail today. It's wonderful. They are beautiful, and you two will do a great job raising them.

Love,
