Potty Time!

I have been waiting for a while to say something because I didn't want to jinx it, but Evan is potty trained. I can't believe it! We have had the potties out for a while and all of the sudden they were all really interested, especially Evan. I showed up at daycare a few weeks ago and he had underwear on. I said, ok let's give it a try. They had been going periodically at home and I said to myself, If I really worked with them I bet they could do it. But, of course, I wasn't ready yet. But, when daycare said let's do it, I got on board.

We have done many outings with Evan wearing his Diego underwear and no accidents! We are still working on going #2 on the potty. Sometimes he does it without a hitch, but sometimes it gets all over when he doesn't realize he's not done. He is even waking up dry most nights. It is so great and he is so proud of himself...so are mommy and daddy!

The girls are doing ok. I would say Peyton is doing better than Addy. They go, but aren't consistent like Evan. They are still pretty young, so I'm going with the flow for now. I do have the Potty Party book and will use it if I have to. I just thought I'd see what happens and if the girls keep lolly gagging then we will do a potty party!

It is so cute to see how excited they get when they do go, they even cheer each other on. They say 'I did it' with such excitement. We even have a potty dance that we do. And M&M's of course!
