I always wondered why not many of the other triplet blogs mentioned the kids sleeping thru the night. Some, but not many. Well, it's because they don't...well most don't for awhile. I think we were holding ours back, it was mostly my fault. I thought since all 3 shared a room that there was no way they'd all fall asleep if we put them to bed at the same time. I thought that they'd keep each other awake. Well, one day last week I just got tired of trying to help them fall asleep. So, we started a new bed time routine and we put them all to bed at the same time. We read a book first and have a bottle and then about 20 minutes later they are all sound alseep. It is amazing!! I wish I would have done this a long time ago. Since we started doing that and since their 1st birhtday they are sleeping thru the night. So, it has been a little over a week now. I think it's safe to say. Just this small change has made such a difference. I was getting pretty burned out not being able to sleep an entire night uninterrupted. Also, holding their bottles. Again, I think it was me holding them back. They all can hold their bottles very easliy and probably could have a couple months ago. Here is the cutest picture, this is what they do when they wake and up and what we do before bed. Things are getting a lot easier and they are so much fun.
We leave for a cabin this weekend. We are taking the kids and of course some help. Grandma, a couple aunties, uncle, cousins, brother and sister. So, I think we are going to have a great time and much needed R & R. Well, as much R&R that you can have traveling with 3 1 year olds :)
