I'm 22 weeks this week. I had a Dr appointment today, they did another level 2 ultrasound. My first level 2 was on March 1st. When they do these ultrasounds they are 2-3 hours long. They take a close look at each baby, they measure everything, they look for down syndrome markers, check blood flow, and determine approximate weight of the babies. On 3/1 Evan was 10 oz. and the girls (Addyson and Peyton) were both 9 oz. At that time everything looked really good, they didn't see anything concering.
We got more good news today. I think the Dr actually used the word perfect. Everything measures like it should, there are no down's markers, all babies have equal amounts of fluid in their sacs and all body parts are doing what they should be. Evan is 1 lb 3oz and the girls are both 1 lb 1 oz. We are very excited that things are going so well. We couldn't ask for anything more.
The Dr said that I should be ok to do normal activity for at least another 4 weeks. I will continue to have appointments every 2 weeks so that they can monitor me and the babies. Thankfully my body is doing a good job at nurturing these babies.
Thanks so much for all of your prayers and support. We couldn't have gotten this far without them.
